Billy genuinely cares about our boys

My two boys, Conner and Blake, have been training with Billy for about four years and while there are a lot of different trainers offering (or promising) many different things from results to scholarships, Billy is in a different class altogether. Over this period of time, Billy has become part of our family because in addition to being an incredible athletic trainer, he genuinely cares about our boys—not just their athletic performance, but their well being in terms of school, social life and their character. Billy’s lessons are not limited to speed and agility or how to run a route or break a press…it is about commitment, work ethic, dedication and goals. As parents, my wife and I sometimes have a hard time getting through to our stubborn teenage boys that “know everything,” but they sure did listen to Billy! From girlfriend situations to parties to coping with peer pressure and avoiding social media mistakes, Billy got through to them about the importance of making good decisions on and off the field.

Conner is now playing football at Lehigh University and Blake is a rising sophomore on the Santa Margarita Catholic High School Football Team. While Blake is a work in progress on the field at SM, I think Conner will attest to the fact he is playing in college because of what he learned from Billy both on and off the field. Billy has stayed a force in Conner’s life even 3,000 miles away. So with the many offerings and promises made by trainers all over Southern California and beyond, when it comes to finding the right trainer for your athlete, you need to get with Billy and at least see if there is a fit. Over a short time, watch as that bond develops because it is not a marketing gimmick…it is who Billy is at his core and for our Family, that was the most important thing—the rest will work itself out because Billy will train your athlete and train them HARD. He will push them beyond their own limits and unlock their potential. To do this, he will make sure your athlete knows he cares and always has their back, so with Billy, I am convinced you get much more than an athletic trainer, but a “life coach” you can partner with as a parent to help your athlete achieve all of their potential on and off the field.
